Lakewood Cemetery Artist in Residence, 2025-26

I was awarded a grant of $4900 as one of the Lakewood Cemetery Artists in Residence. My project is to use and repurpose flowers that are being discarded after being used for funeral arrangements and I will be using them to make handmade paper that people can take with them at the Visitor’s Center. I will utilize the flora and fauna of Lakewood Cemetery to make prints on the handmade paper that I will exhibit at the end of the residency. I will also teach two workshops in printmaking on the handmade paper that will be free and open to the public.
